Chrusher Comix Episode #11
- Rake Science & The Origin of Keith Slasher Pt. 1:
In the funniest and most beloved issue of the 1988-89 season, Scott "The Cow" Gagnon's antics gave teacher Ms. Wood a stroke and a heart attack, her 7th of the year!
When she falls, the perverted student Scott "The Cow" Gagnon then stands in for her... with tragic results
for the class! With his assistant, "The Strangler", they teach fellow students the perverse activity known as "Rake Science." And Crusher Comics are never the same again, losing their innocence and wholesomeness. Well, kinda'. 1st appearance of Keith Slasher and Justin Plankton. (8 pages, B&W + digitally colored cover, 1988.)
Well, here it is. This is the first comic that not only led Crusher Comics into complete and total lunacy, but it also introduced me to my best friend Ray, who I met in school laughing his @$$ off at my comics. In this issue, I put Scott's real-life obsession with "raking butts" into the comics. I also introduced a few friends fighting and clashing throughout. This issue is generally thought of as one of the funniest of my early comics, and I agree. I later installed Ray into the comics, and he also drew his own (which will eventually also be on the site). Ray got a lot of flack for it at the time, but he really GOT the spirit of the comics and had great ideas to put into them, while my other friends were just, "put me in the comics dude! And make me all muscular" or "make me a ninja" or "give me cool weapons" and so on and so forth. You'll see as the story progresses. Please note that I was drawing these at a rate of more than one per day, so the dates on the pages were becoming slightly skewed from their actual dates.

Visitors have loaded this many Chrusher Comic
book and graphic novel pages since November 2005:
"Classic Crusher Comics" was done between 1988-1999 as an
unpublished "sketchbook with a storyline" comic book
while the author was in school and for a short period thereafter. In 2005, it was reborn,
reprinted entirely for the world wide web as a webcomic. Now, a new graphic novel debuted, though interrelated,
not interdependent to the old archival comic books. Enjoy any
and all!
