This was my graphic novel, affectionately called, "The Wrath of the Rake." I originally drew it as a special, colored continuation to my 1988-89 comic. Like "Crusher: The Movie" or something like that. My audience was supposed to pay to see it, or else they couldn't see it. A Pay-per-view comic book. I also planned printing the book in order to sell copies to students. What wound up happening is that nobody paid, nobody was following the storylines that followed this book, so I stopped coloring the book and resumed showing it to the students the way I usually did. What's impressive about this book in particular, is that you can actually see the steady improvement in my artistic abilities from the first page to the last one, even though I stopped coloring it around halfway through! It's also the first book that I started using artist paper instead of lined paper.
Visitors have loaded this many Chrusher Comic
book and graphic novel pages since November 2005:
"Classic Crusher Comics" was done between 1988-1999 as an
unpublished "sketchbook with a storyline" comic book
while the author was in school and for a short period thereafter. In 2005, it was reborn,
reprinted entirely for the world wide web as a webcomic. Now, a new graphic novel debuted, though interrelated,
not interdependent to the old archival comic books. Enjoy any
and all!
