Here is a rejected art project of mine. A company commissioned me to do a
flash animation project. However, due to the fact that I was teaching myself how
to animate, transfer it to a flash file on the job, and came down with a series
of nasty head-and-chest colds that had me bed resting for a few weeks, I didn't
complete the project on time and my animation - which I poured a lot of time and
energy into - was rejected. Here it is, without sound effects or music. I
thought I did a nice job all things considered, but alas, it wasn't enough.
Well, at least I can use it as an example of what I could do if I was to be paid
for it, and I was at least partially paid for it even though they didn't
actually use it.
This has nothing to do with the rest of the Chrusher comic other
than it took time away from it and I wanted to show it off. I hope you like it,
though it only depresses me, as I see it as a failure. Oh well, back to the rest
of the comics!
"Classic Crusher Comics" was produced between 1988-1999 as an
unpublished "sketchbook with a storyline" amateur comic book
while the author was in school and for a short period thereafter. In 2005, it was reborn,
reprinted entirely for the world wide web as a webcomic. Now, a new graphic novel debuted, though interrelated,
not interdependent to the old archival comic books. Enjoy any
